April 16: Celebrate 25 Years of PRIME TIME with All-Day Festivities!
PRIME TIME Family Reading Time is 25, and throwing an all-day block party to celebrate! The celebration will commence with a lively forum aimed at enhancing understanding of civic participation, made possible through the National Endowment for the Humanities’ (NEH) Common Good initiative. Louisiana educators are invited to participate in the forum, and applications will be selected based on submission date, geographic location, and interest statements.
With the support of Follett Educational Services, Target Corporation, and the Air Liquide Foundation, this free event will be open to educators, families, and everyone who wants to learn more about PRIME TIME. Music, performances, refreshments and an unprecedented sale of nearly 10,000 gently-used children’s books add to the party.
Educators may click here to apply, and pre-register to receive free books. View the anniversary celebration flier and click here to attend!
