Recipients of LEH’s Emergency Planning Grants will be able to use the funds to hire consultants or underwrite staff time to develop, update and implement written emergency plans, and support staff training, such as workshops or other professional development opportunities, directly related to emergency planning.

Emergency Preparedness & Response Workshops This Summer Across Louisiana

This June join the Louisiana Endowment for the Humanities, the Louisiana Association of Museums, and cultural heritage specialist Rebecca Elder for Culture Ready LA, a series of day-long workshops that will be held across the state on planning for emergencies involving nonprofit cultural organizations.

Applications for grants from the Louisiana Culture Care Fund, which provides funds for operational expenses, will open March 13, and applications for Rebirth Grants, providing funding for humanities-based programming, will open April 1.
