National Endowment for the Humanities to Lead Grants Workshop at the LEH

The National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH), through its Division of Public Programs, supports museum exhibitions, historic site interpretation, digital projects, and other formats intended for public audiences. Join NEH Senior Program Officer Peter Fristedt on April 26 at the LEH for an overview of the division’s public humanities grants. Fristedt will offer tips for applying and share information on NEH’s newest grant program, Public Impact Projects for Smaller Organizations, which offers $25,000 awards for smaller cultural institutions.  

 

Individuals and organizations engaged in the public humanities are particularly encouraged to attend. To learn more about the work of NEH’s Division of Public Programs, visit the NEH website. 

 

About the Facilitator 

Peter Fristedt is a senior program officer in the Division of Public Programs at the NEH. He holds a PhD in philosophy from SUNY Stony Brook, and before coming to the NEH taught at Hofstra University and Towson University.
