Organizations interested in bringing a free family engagement and reading program to their community are invited to apply to host a Prime Time reading program in the fall. Applications will be accepted from organizations throughout Louisiana until April 17.

Two Grant Opportunities Supporting Humanities Organizations Available this Spring

Two grant opportunities from the LEH this spring will provide support for Louisiana cultural organizations. Applications for grants from the Louisiana Culture Care Fund, which provides funds for operational expenses, will open March 13, and applications for Rebirth Grants, providing funding for humanities-based programming, will open April 1.

LEH President, Vice President of Public Programs Join National Boards

Two LEH leaders have been tapped for national association board of directors positions: President/Executive Director Miranda Restovic was elected to the 2023 Federation of State Humanities Councils Board of Directors, and Vice President of Public Programs Erin Greenwald, Ph.D., was elected to the American Historical Association’s governing council.
