Entergy Corporation Wins Civic 50 Award

New Orleans-based Entergy Corporation has been a steadfast supporter of the LEH’s PRIME TIME Family Reading Time program since 2010, and it is our pleasure to announce that the company has been named to “The Civic 50” in 2016, as one of the nation’s most community-minded volunteer programs. The Civic 50 sets the standard for corporate civic engagement and is an initiative of Points of Light, the world’s largest organization dedicated to community service.

Entergy invests $16 million annually in community improvement programs, in the areas of education, workforce development, arts, health and environment, and its employees contribute thousands of hours in volunteer service annually. The LEH congratulates Entergy on this prestigious award.
