Bright Lights in the Humanities Awards Shaping Up for April 13
The 2017 Bright Lights Awards in the Humanities will be even more delightful and opportunity packed for honorees and sponsors. April 13 will see the transformation of the Shaw Center for the Arts in Baton Rouge into a magical setting, to honor Louisianans who have made lasting contributions to the sharing and preservation of the Humanities. Honorees are as diverse and culturally significant as the state’s culture itself, which makes the Bright Lights celebration a rare opportunity to meet these talented culture bearers.
Honorees will be announced in the February newsletter, but sponsorships are already available for programs, awards, and tables. Last year’s celebration was sold out, and we expect even more excitement around this year’s.
Look for the announcement of the Humanist of the Year and our special honorees, exclusive items for our second annual silent auction, and more sponsorship and volunteer opportunities to come.
