LEH Awards Twelve Grants in Support of Ongoing Disaster Recovery
The Louisiana Endowment for the Humanities, with the support of the State of Louisiana, has awarded 12 Emergency Recovery Grants totaling $100,000 to humanities-based nonprofits in the 25-parish area declared a federal disaster zone following Hurricane Ida. Emergency Recovery Grants provide funds for facility repairs or upgrades to reduce vulnerability, clean up, remediation, rental of temporary meeting space, or other action that can mitigate the effects of past or future natural disasters.
