Word & Image: A Poetry Collage Workshop

Writing a poem is a lot like making a collage: image by image, words come together to express something that’s hard to say directly. Instead of keeping them separate, what happens when the textures and colors of visual imagery and language are brought together? In this workshop, participants will be guided through engaging poetry and collage as a united creative practice. No experience is necessary, just curiosity. Everyone leaves with an original collage poem that they’ve brought to life.
