
Prime Time Family Reading

THE FINAL PRIME TIME FAMILY READING SESSION, ORIGINALLY SCHEDULED FOR THE HELIS FOUNDATION JOHN SCOTT CENTER, HAS BEEN MOVED TO THE MUSEUM OF THE SOUTHERN JEWISH EXPERIENCE, 818 HOWARD AVENUE IN NEW ORLEANS.
Prime Time Family Reading, an program created by the Louisiana Endowment for the Humanities, brings caregivers and their six- to 10-year-old children together to explore notable books and big ideas through reading and discussion. The Helis Foundation John Scott Center is hosting a Prime Time Family Reading Program located in downtown New Orleans at 938 Lafayette Street.
This FREE program meets weekly for six 90-minute sessions on Tuesdays from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Families are provided with a meal at the start of the program, and everyone takes books home to help build at-home libraries. The program dates are Tuesdays from November 5 to December 17 (EXCEPT November 26).
