August 12 – Modernist Architecture Book Talk

On Friday, August 12, 12:15 to 1 p.m., the Louisiana Humanities Center will host a book talk by Guy Carwile, of The Modernist Architecture of Samuel G. and William B. Wiener. Carwile’s co-author is architect Karen Kingsley, a longtime contributor to Louisiana Cultural Vistas and to KnowLouisiana.org.

The event is part of the Architecture & Design Film Festival: New Orleans, produced by the Louisiana Architecture Foundation.

Published by Louisiana State University Press, the book is a study of the Wieners’ work in Shreveport. Admission is free and open to the public. Click here to learn more about the festival.
