March 31, “Latino Americans in Lafayette” Film Screening and Discussion
On March 31, the LEH will host the final installment in “Latinos in Lafayette,” its series of programs and film screenings exploring the lives of Latino communities in the region. The event takes place at Cite Des’ Artes, 109 Vine Street, and begins at 5:30 p.m. with a screening of Episode 6 in “Latino Americans,” a documentary film miniseries originally broadcast on PBS. Following the film, Dr. Leslie Bary of the University of Louisiana at Lafayette will moderate a panel discussion with local business leaders from the Latino community.
The LEH’s partners on the series include the Asociación Cultural Latino Acadiana, the International Trade Center of Lafayette, the Lafayette Parish Library, KRVS radio and the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.
