Sept. 29: Inaugural Reading for New Louisiana Poet Laureate
In August Gov. Bobby Jindal selected Dr. Peter Cooley of New Orleans as Louisiana’s poet laureate for the 2015-2017 term.
On Tuesday, September 29 at 6:30pm, the LHC hosts Dr. Cooley’s inaugural reading. The event begins with a reception and Dr. Cooley will read from his work.
