LEH Issues $143k in Grants Supporting Humanities Programs and Projects
The Louisiana Endowment for the Humanities, with the support of the National Endowment for the Humanities and the State of Louisiana, has awarded 31 Rebirth Grants totaling $143,500 to nonprofit cultural organizations in 13 parishes.
Rebirth Grants support projects with humanities themes in a variety of formats, including public programs and discussion, documentary photography and radio projects, digital humanities projects, publication projects, new and continuing scholarly research about Louisiana, and humanities-based educational initiatives.
