The LEH Supports cultural efforts throughout the state by awarding grants to local cultural organizations and institutions. These awards support large and small scale humanities public programs from university events to those sponsored by museums, libraries, cultural centers and historical societies.

NOTE: Due to reductions in state funding, LEH leadership is compelled to announce the cancellation of the following 2010-2011 grant deadlines: October 1, 2010 Public Humanities October 1, 2010 Teacher Institutes for Advanced Study March 1, 2011 Outreach Remaining 2010-2011 grant deadlines are: September 1, 2010 Outreach December 1, 2010 Outreach February 15, 2011 Louisiana Publishing Initiative

All LEH deadlines are subject to the following rules: Grants must be received in the LEH offices by 5pm on the date specified.
If the deadline date falls on a holiday or weekend, applications must be received in the LEH offices by 5pm the next business day.
